The Ontario Student Classics Conference (OSCC) will be held at Brock University from May 8 to 10, 2025. As part of the program, organizers are seeking professors who would be willing to deliver a short guest lecture to student participants.

These 30-minute talks have been consistently well-received by students and serving as an effective form of outreach to encourage interest in post-secondary studies in Classics. Presentations may focus on any area of Classical studies and should be accessible to an audience of students aged 13 to 18.

Details are as follows:

Dates and Times: Thursday, May 8 (anytime between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.); Friday, May 9 (anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.)
Location: Brock University
Topic: At the speaker’s discretion, but appropriate for high school audiences
