CAC/SCEC News: 9 March 2021

The CAC/SCEC is in the process of moving to a revamped news and communications strategy. We will debut a dynamic news website soon (ETA May 2021) on which news will be posted regularly and archived in perpetuity. This site will replace the Canadian Classical Bulletin. Subscribers to the CCB will be able to sign up for an email notification of news items when they are posted on the website. We are also using Facebook  (http://www.facebook.com/CACSCEC)  and Twitter (http://twitter.com/cac_scec) to share news items in a more immediate fashion (you may access either of these services without signing up for an account – just click on the links). Until the news site is live, we will continue to send iterations of the CCB to subscribers whenever a critical mass of announcements is reached.

If you have items to submit, please send them to ccb@cac-scec.ca. Place the word “SUBMISSION” in the subject line. These may concern upcoming academic positions, conference announcements, calls for papers, particular achievements by departments or individuals, special study programs, and other items of interest to the general academic community. Please send announcements in an editable format (.doc, .rtf, .html). The editor typically does not allow attachments; please provide a link to posters, flyers, etc.

If you are on Twitter or Facebook, please tag the CAC in your post and we will amplify your message to our followers.
