In order to assist in alleviating economic and professional disruptions caused, at least in part, by the economic impacts of COVID–19, the Classical Association of Canada is pleased to begin offering “micro-grants” to those members in the “Member, income less than $40,000” or “Member, student” categories. These grants are intended to help members with expenses that relate to the objectives of the organization, especially those associated with research, and with those expenses that they have incurred unexpectedly as a result of COVID–19 that affect research (e.g., unexpected childcare expenses, increased internet access costs, books purchased because of library closures, etc.).
