This position is included within the Canadian Union of Public Employees (“CUPE”) Local 3906 Unit 3, representing Post-Doctoral Fellows.
Description of Role:
The successful candidate will be required to teach Latin 1ZZ3 for the summer 2011 term (Jun 20 – Aug 5, 2011), Latin 2A03 in Term 1, 2011 and one course to be determined in the summer of 2012. In addition, the successful candidate will undertake research in Classics under the supervision of a member of the department and have the opportunity to work in the library’s Sherman Centre for Digital Scholarship, an interdisciplinary research facility with a focus on digital initiatives.
Qualifications:
Applicants should be not more than three years beyond their completed PhD. Those with a defence scheduled no later than May 2011 are welcome to apply.
