Essay Competition
The winning entry in the Junior Competition should read:
First Prize: Sophie Dold (Memorial University) for “Portraits of Rivalry: The East-West Dichotomy in the Coinage of Octavian and Antony.”
Apologies to Ms. Dold.
I would like to encourage everyone to consider submitting essays to the junior contest in particular (the entries were disturbingly low in number this year). Essays for any course, especially large courses in myth and civilization, are very welcome. They don't need to be long or in depth, and fictional and creative submissions are encouraged.
