Linited Term Appointment
Trent University, Department of Ancient History & Classics, invites applications for a limited term appointment (8-month) at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, depending on qualifications and teaching experience, to begin September 1, 2001. The appointment is subject to budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a first-year course in Greek History, to assist in the teaching of Roman History (at the second-year level), and to teach either introductory Greek or upper-year Latin. Candidates are advised that courses at Trent are two-term courses and not semestered.
Applicants, who should demonstrate both good teaching ability and potential as scholars, should have a Ph.D. or be very near completion, and should address their applications to:
