Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia invites applications for an individual to teach a section of Classical Mythology (Cla 202.2) for the second
academic semester, January-April 2000 on a part-time contract. Professional
qualifications include a M.A. in Classics or a

The Department of Classics, Queen's University, invites applications for
a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant Professor effective
July 1, 2000, in Latin Language and Literature. A Ph.D. is required as is a
commitment to excellent undergraduate and graduate teaching. The appointee will have a
promising research record, preferably in the Late Republic, Early Imperial period. Greek
Language and Classical Civilization courses will also constitute part of the teaching duties. The
salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
